This is an annual project where we support destitute families for Ramadan and Eid.
Ramadan Foods Parcels
Weekly sessions in Archery, Horse Riding and BJJ Martial Arts are held in our centre in Manchester to support the local youths.

Eid gatherings, Celebratory events are regularly held to help build relationships with the local communities.

Every year we organise a hospitalised centre for free Eye Tests and cater for those suffering from Eye infections, cateract.

SHASSAB Welfare Trust is a family based charity and is financed through its own resources and means. 100% non-profit making Trust based in Manchester and is a UK registered charity. We specifically concentrate in Pakistan and Kashmir; Pakistan being the birthplace and origin of the founders and with nearly one third of the country's 140 million people living in absolute poverty,
We pride ourselves on providing care, support and lifelong health to those most in need ; according to the Seerat of our beloved Prophet Mohammad (May the Peace and blessings of Allah swt be upon him and his family).
SHASSAB also takes pride in building youth projects in the community and has initiated such projects through "Sport of Kings" and Community functions.
Action Taken
- First Muslim care home in the UK, with specific provision for Muslim elderly.
- Financial support to elderly, widows, orphans, sick and support part of marriage expenses for orphan girls in need; since 1992.
- Full school kits supplied for children from 0 to 5th class for District Balakot, Rawalkot Bagh and Muzafarabad Azad Kashmir after the earth quake.
- Supplied food bags of approximately 30 kg each at Noshehra Centre with 2 truck loads of food bags for flood affectees of KPK.
- Regularly arrange yearly eye camps for over 1000 visitors entertained with Laser Surgery and Blood screening, eye operations, sight tests and spectacles supplied every year. Food, accommodation and transport is provided.
- Character building educational literature distributed to visitors & others.
- Yearly multifaith gatherings to unite communities; Eid parties arranged in Manchester to promote understanding about the Islamic culture.

Our work
Pakistan Flood Relief
Distributed 800 packages of food to those affected in the Pakistan; Charsaddah, through personal conveyance. Each package lasting up to 6 days.

Provisions for those affected by the 2005 Pakistan earthquake in 3 districts: Balakot, Rawalakot and Baagh. Distribution of schooling kits with textbooks from classes 1 to 5. Kits included books according to the syllabus. Distributed under government regulated system in Azad Kashmir.
